Government’s role in Economics deserves scrutiny.

One of the most important considerations in working with government is to recognize every government organization has an ego. With an ego comes narcist tendencies. New Market Economics factors this self-loving feature into the calculus to understand the role of business and government when their activities intermingle. Extreme caution must be employed when the people of a country grant powers of self-regulation to a government. Although a core feature of New Market Economics, the communist party in China refused to give the concept any credence. Consequently, the economic system in China is imbued with a fail-certain feature. Without a check on government long term no economy can survive such a flaw. It is essential the goals of business and government must align.

Government and business have incompatible objectives. To have government manage business is like putting Ford in charge of Tesla. Each entity has a goal of furthering their position in the world. It is totally incompatible to think Ford would have the best interests of Tesla in mind when setting environmental rules for their vehicles.

Government likes to assume they are some super power above human characteristics like hubris and greed, but that is ridiculous. They are human even if they would like to see themselves as more exalted.
